Movie(Review) Monday

That Awkward Moment.

Daring to go beyond the limitations of the predictable rom-com, the movie is told from a slightly raunchier twentysomething male perspective. Think Brom-com…think Sex In the City, for bros. It's funny in a frat kind of way with dialogue brought to you by Red Bull and Axe Body spray. Zac Efron remains favorable eye candy, while Michael B. Jordan brings a little depth to the story, and Miles Teller reminds the audience of a young Bill Murray.
And the biggest surprise of the movie comes from Imogene Poots who holds her own with this wolf pack and comes across as authentic and adorably charming.

Overall Grade: B
