WORKSPACE INSPIRATION

www.theeverygirl.com

Now that we are all back-to-school and the summer is coming to an end, it's time for all of us to get motivated. One way that I love getting motivated is going back to school shopping for office/school supplies, but upon returning home with your all your fun new folders, pens, and paper clips, you must find a place to put it all. Creating a work space and environment, that is both comfortable and soothing, will the be the ultimate blessing when you're pulling a late night study session. Surrounding yourself with organization and inspiration will keep you motivated and doing well during both early mornings and late nights. In order to get some ideas, I threw together some workspace inspiration below! HELLO SEPTEMBER!

Shake It Like a Polariod

Photos Via

Lately, I have been noticing a lot of polaroid photo inspired decor, and I must say I am a huge fan. I had never been good at documenting events in my life with photography... and then came instagram.  I think this is the perfect way to take up space in a personal and fun way, and when one of my favorite Beauty guru's Bethany/MacBarbie07 (I think we were besties in a past life) did a DIY decorations video, I was SOLD. Check it out below and also stop by her youtube chanel. It's nothing short of precious.

1. "Life's too short to wear boring clothes." (A unfinished blog post Pictue)
2. My Valentines Day prezzy.
3. An awesome sunday morning park view.
4. Chipotle. My delicious friend.

Sunnies Solution

I am a girl who is constantly buying sunglasses. Like all the time. They are by far my favorite accessory and when you live in Texas, like I do, they are always needed. Up above you see my current sunglasses display.  Boring right? Well I wanna change it and I need your help. Below are some shade display ideas. Lemme know in the comments which ones you personally like the best!
Thanks Loves
XOXO

Book Worm Inspiration

It was C.S Lewis who said "You can't get a cup of tea big enough or a book long enough to suit me." If you change the tea to hot chocolate you get me, and that is why I can't wait to have a collection of books of my own, in my future home.

Closet Inspiration

 Photos Via Pinterest

I recently had the terrible responsibility of cleaning out/ organizing my closet, and I couldn't help but think about the future closet space I hope to have. The closets above might be a little bit of a stretch, but a girl can dream..can't she?

My Future Bedroom

One thought I am constantly having (Thanks to Pinterest) is how my future home is going to look, and all the lovely things I want to apply to my first home. One of the most important parts of this future place, is the bedroom, and watching bedroom tour videos had me thinking of some elements I hope to add to my future bedroom some day.

Pin it Yourself

Everyone knows, for a while now, Pinterest (the app) has been the hot place to gather inspiration and get new ideas, but for me (as much as I adore Pinterest!) I need a little something more to get the inspiration flowing. Which is why one of my favorite things ever, is creating Inspiration boards. Pinning at home is an absolutely amazing way to keep the creative juices flowing without having to get on the computer. I mean what could be more awesome than a real life pin board? So I encourage you to...
1. Gather a giant cork board, an over sized frame, or even a wall.
2. Find things that inspire you from newspapers, magazines, cookbooks, and pictures.
3. Add 3D items, such as jewelry, feathers, ribbons, etc.
4. And finally Marvel, in the beauty and the awesomeness that inspires you :)

Take a gander at some masterpieces.

An Insider's Look: Erin Fetherston's Home

Erin Fetherston, an american fashion designer, and a genius I might add, for proof click here, grew up in the bay area of California. After living in Paris for five years, the designer (and former Fashion Funder) moved to New York in 2007 and settled into a recently converted loft in Tribeca that overlooks the Hudson River.  The humble abode of perfection contains aerial-ceilings and gigantic windows. Erin describes her residency as  "romantic and chic, but clean and modern". I think it's just straight up fabulous.
