The Social Boutique: A New Chapter

Some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next. Delicious ambiguity. -Gilda Radner
My story started in January of 2012 when I started a blogger called The Social Boutique. I wanted to create an online home for myself, where I could share all my thoughts on everything, I (and most teenage girls) enjoyed. I’ve built a following and achieved both big and little milestones in the past two years.
It wasn’t until recently that I realized that what I was doing wasn’t what I set out to do and more importantly it stopped being something I enjoyed. I was being restricted by a creative straightjacket. I feared having to start over  and I kept going down a path that wasn’t at all what I intended it to be.
I played it safe.
But that stops now. I owe it to myself to create content that I think my readers deserve and that I enjoy creating.
The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing. -Walt Disney
Which brings me to the writing of this post and presenting my new online home to you guys. Don’t worry guys, It’s still The Social Boutique, but it’s (what I feel is) a much better version. I am going to be sharing content with y’all on a daily basis on EVERYTHING. That’s right you heard me on all subjects. And I hope to be adding a lot of other fun things like contributors, series, interviews, as well as other forums of communication like videos, writings, short films, and of course gifs.
So in conclusion, I am so overwhelmingly excited about this new journey I am embarking on. I hope everyone will come along for the ride with me, and enjoy the new and improved “The Social Boutique.”
