Coachella: A festival of awesomeness.

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is a multi-day annual music and arts festival, that features many genres of music including rock, indie, Hip Hop and electronic music as well as large sculptural art. Last Year it was announced that the festival will be held over two separate weekends, starting in 2012. The Festival has a desert setting with daytime temperatures frequently rising to over 100 °F. For me Coachella is known for two things and two things only, Fashion and Music. Two of my favorite things :). Here is Coachella for me in a blog post. Coachella for me is like the bestest fashion festival ever (Maybe next to lollapalooza and ACL). Basically it is the one weekend where girls who aren't really hipsters and bohemian get to act like they are for a weekend. But truth be told its completely Fabulous.

    I drove by Indio CA where Coachella is 1 year and change back on a road trip from Tempe AZ to LA, and it's the perfect setting for any type of concert. I hope to make it there someday. It definitely seems like a fun music fest to go to.

    Oh my gosh love it! I'm totally guilty of using events like this to pretend that I'm actually bohemian for a day; it's so much fun to try something different once in a while! So while I won't actually be there, I can certainly appreciate it, possibly by channeling the style anyways?
