NYC Trip + Packing Tips

I'm off to NYC tomorrow with my school choir. Should be a fabulous trip, and will be my first time in the Big Apple. We will be seeing the Broadway shows, Newsies and Matilda, as well as hitting up all the best tourist destinations.
 The downside to an exciting trip..Packing. I put the pro in procrastination, so I obviously put it off until the last minute, but just because I hate packing doesn't mean I don't rock at it. Below are some tips for your future packing escapades.

{All Packed Up- Cupcakes and Cashmere}

-Layer YourselfMost likely you will look ahead at the weather plans for your destination, but it's smart to prepare for unexpected weather changes. Choose diverse pieces. Blazers are good to transform a sundress, from a day outfit, to a night out.

Roll It Up- Roll up your clothing. This will avoid creases, and provide more room.

Wear Your Bulky Items- Jeans, boots, sweaters etc. wear them to the airport, This will save room!

Bag it- Pack a few extra ziplock bags to store things like dirty clothes, and wet bathing

-Downsize- You really don't need to carry around your biggest bottles and bulk size toiletries. Instead grab some small reusable bottles at target (they're like 99 cents). Fill them up with you're everyday bathroom products, and throw them in a bag. Put it in a ziplock bag so if there is spillage, nothing in your suitcase is ruined. Avoid Ross' problem below! Gotta love Friends.

  6. Thanks for your packing tips, Morgan! Aside from packing your stuff properly, be conscious enough to prioritize important stuff before anything else. By making a checklist, you can see your stuff, and from there, you can separate the important from the not-so-important items. Travel light and experience less hassle.
