Cheetah Love

In the 4th grade my favorite shirt was cheetah print (cheetah girls phase) and I purchased it from my local limited too. Now I thought it was the business, but looking back on it, it was probably the most hideous shirt ever to be bought from limited too.  Which is saying a lot. Since that ever so unfortunate purchase, I stayed away from cheetah printed items, but a month or two ago I decided to venture out of my comfort zone, and get some Steve Madden flats, and I must say I'm happy I did. Ever since, I've been seeing them EVERYWHERE. Good call on my part? I say yes.

Embellished Blue Jean

One trend that I have been loving is the embellished neckline. I think adding a little bit of bling to a neckline, can make even the simpliest of outfits become a bit classier. I unfortunately have not been able to track down a shirt that demonstrates the loveliness that is the embellished neckline, so I did the next best thing.

By adding a simple necklace to the outside of the collar, the outfits classiness level is stepped up.

One timeless color combination that I have been in love with for a very long time is red and white. It's the perfect way to show a little patriotism without being painfully obvious, the perfect way to incorporate a little marilyn in your wardrobe, and the perfect way to have the holiday spirit year round.

I recently had the terrible responsibility of cleaning out/ organizing my closet, and I couldn't help but think about the future closet space I hope to have. The closets above might be a little bit of a stretch, but a girl can dream..can't she?

Until I started blogging, when it came to my style I was a pretty straight shooter. I usually wore just one pattern if any, and my colors always matched. Matching was something that my mother had stressed to me all throughout my childhood. No child of hers was ever going to leave the house in something tacky. Then came the blog, and I was introduced to mismatching colors + patterns, and I haven't looked back since. Mixing is something that I am very new to, and I am obviously taking it slow ^, But I can't wait to slowly expand this trend into my wardrobe overtime.

My Future Bedroom

One thought I am constantly having (Thanks to Pinterest) is how my future home is going to look, and all the lovely things I want to apply to my first home. One of the most important parts of this future place, is the bedroom, and watching bedroom tour videos had me thinking of some elements I hope to add to my future bedroom some day.
